Lighting is crucial for all civic projects, especially in building
attractions for night time skylines. This is especially true when
we think of our national symbols of civic society, such as the Empire
State Building, or the Statue of Liberty, the Washington Monument
or the US Capitol. Beyond the functional need for light, a professional
designer can sculpt light to magnify the nobility of all civic works,
enhancing their identity-building aspects for the city.

As integrated members of the design team, we have worked with community forums and panels to carefully balance multiple interests and perspectives toward vital solutions. Similarly, we have been challenged to create designs within thematic parameters, and have enjoyed successfully exceeding our clients' expectations with innovative results.
Finally, we understand that many civic projects are managed under
tight budget constraints and time frames. Our vast product knowledge
and industry relationships ensure that we can provide solutions
that meet both your budgetary and schedule requirements.

The National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions
is a non-profit organization founded in 1991 to serve and protect
the well-being of the public through effective and efficient lighting
practices. Through a peer-review process, the NCQLP has established
the education, experience and examination requirements for certification
in the lighting industry through the Lighting Certification program.
Today, more and more government organizations are requiring LC certification
to engage in public contracts. Studio Lux designers hold their LC
certifications, and in fact are professional instructors for certification
courses, qualifying them to undertake any civic or public project.
